Friday Finds: September Week 4

This week I wanted to kick off a new series. Some of my favorite posts on other people’s sites are when they do a round up of all the great links and things they have found throughout the past week, so I decided to adopt the idea! So without further ado, the first week of Friday Finds!

  1. This week was the week I busted out Fall wallpapers for my laptop, phone, and iPad. I get most all of my wallpapers from Unsplash (like the one above). Some of the other ones I liked were this one, this one, this one and this one. But there is a whole world of great free images on there!

  2. Fall makes me want to nest more than usual. Cozy blankets, more throw pillows, warm toned flowers… I loved this article about a stylish home that fits my fall mood perfectly.

  3. Speaking of cozy - I am all about warm fall drinks right now. Pumpkin spice is all well and good but I like a chai vibe most. I have always loved Blue Lotus Chai, but their Mandarin Chai might be the best one yet. Although I love the Mint one too. I like that they are unsweetened so I can make them anyway I want.

4. And of course, fall drinks have to include some coffee. But what I am obsessed with isn’t just for coffee! Milk Street, which is Christopher Kimball’s cooking school and product line, has these incredible coffee and tea sugars. They are sold out right now, but you should sign up to get the email when they are back in stock because they are SO good. I especially love the Mexican Mocha and Burnt Orange Spice ones

5. I have been loving following French is Beautiful on Instagram lately. Her feed is filled with gorgeous images and french language lessons.

6. If you have read any of my recipes, you know I am all about improvisation and customization. The Splendid Table put out a great article on soup improvisation that you should definitely check out. I would be willing to be you get inspired to make soup out of what you have in the fridge right now.

7. Something about this time of year makes me want to watch a morning news show. But something about this year also makes me not watch to watch any news…. Enter Home & Family on the Hallmark Channel. All the fall recipes and crafts with none of the news. This week they featured this fabulous fall recipe I cannot wait to try! Acorn Squash Fondue, sounds weird, looks amazing.

Thats it for this week’s finds. Check back next week for more!
